This exciting opportunity to join the Carbon Energy Team requires a candidate with drive and commitment prepared to go above and beyond what is expected to ensure that Carbon Energy's objectives and goals are achieved then exceeded.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will have overall responsibility for the ongoing development of Carbon Energy's UCG technology. Understanding production techniques and making decisions on future technology applications will be an essential part of this role. You will also be required to undertake key stakeholder engagements including liaison with government, landowners and regulators.

You will develop and implement targeted drilling programs to characterise and establish resource potential in identified sites and conduct resource evaluations consistent with the JORC code and satisfy ASX reporting requirements for coal resources.

You will demonstrate strategic, operational, technology and business leadership expertise at a senior executive level within the resources sector. You will have significant expertise in underground commercial coal operations with technical expertise in coal evaluation, geotechnical assessment for coal mining, hydrology and gas management, strata control and environmental management of underground operations. Relevant tertiary qualifications and preferably also a higher degree in engineering, geology or management is required.
