Our client is seeking a Registered Mine Surveyor to work at one of their open cut operations in the NSW Coalfields. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Australia's leading mining companies and work with a team who puts your career and safety first.

You will report directly to the Technical Services Manager you will demonstrate solid expertise on a variety of computer software packages such as AutoCAD, Vulcan or similar planning systems. You will be a confident communicator both verbally and written and present enthusiasm and willingness to adapt to working in a small team.

This position will assume the role of Registered Mine Surveyor and will therefore ensure all statutory requirements are fulfilled in the survey, planning and reporting of projects. You will have had experience in a similar statutory role where you are responsible for the mentoring and supervision of surveying staff and contractors.

To be eligible for this position you must have a Degree/Diploma in Surveying and MUST hold a NSW Coal Statutory Ticket. Good working knowledge in an open cut coal operation will be ideal although experience gained within a related sector will also be considered.
