This thriving council on Melbourne's outskirts has one of the largest infrastructure budgets in Victoria with a projected capital works spend of over $1b over the next 10 years.

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager / Construction Engineer to work with the Capital Works team in delivering various packages of infrastructure and building works within the council area. Projects include road construction, land development, building, structures and associated civil engineering works.

Working closely with the Senior Project Manager your responsibilities will include
? Project scoping and planning
? Tender production, review and selection
? Management of external contractors and third party workers
? Cost control and budgeting
? Progress payments and quality control
? Contract administration

The ideal candidate will be a degree qualified civil engineer with a 2-3 years experience ideally within a client-side or government environment. Previous expierence in local council will be highly regarded.
