My client is a leading manufacturer and marketer of branded consumer product used in the building, construction, home improvement and architectural industries. With iconic brands recognised by consumers and business across the globe they have become established as a leading Australian organisaiton.

Job Description

My client requires a junior mechanical engineer to provide a support function with both maintenance and capital projects. Both of these functions will ultimately result in plant expansion and increased efficiencies across all lines as well as giving the successful candidate invaluable exposure to a broad range of skills and experiences.

The Successful Applicant

Will ideally possess:

Mechanical Engineering Tertiary Qualifications.
The ability to undertake projects from root cause analysis through to solution design and commissioning.
Understanding of plant maintenance procedures.
Experience working in an FMCG or medium industry environment.
Strong computing skills including some drafting experience
A demonstrable hands on attitude.
