My client is an international laboratory testing company who provides innovative one-stop-shop Mineralogical and Geoanalytical assaying services to a wide range of industry sectors including mining, environmental and petroleum. They operate the largest collection of laboratories, all of which are designed to provide exceptional services to the mining sector. Due to a newly awarded contract, they are recruiting for an experienced Senior Chemist to join their Laboratories in South Australia.

You will be reporting to the unit manager and be responsible for commissioning / management of mineral laboratories, staff supervision & training, development of OH&S procedures, client reporting, lab maintenance program, producing results & quality control reports, procedure auditing and carrying out AAS analysis.

Ideally you will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in either Chemistry (preferred) or a related science field. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Access data base software is required, experience in mineral testing is essential.
