Qualifications:
Successful candidate will be a Senior Mechanical Engineer with minimum 10 years of experience.
Candidate will be Professional Engineer accredited by APEGGA.
Successful candidate will have superior communication skills.
Strong leadership abilities.
Business Development skills are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for running the Mechanical Department.
Responsible for leading and supervising up to 10 Engineers.
Position will have client liaison responsibilities on mechanical issues
Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
P&ID and mechanical drawing development skills are required.
Ability to run the Mechanical Department as required.
Opportunity:
The successful candidate will have a preference to be a Discipline Engineer.
This will allow the Senior Mechanical Engineer a diverse role in overseeing all aspects of the department by offering their technical expertise on all matters.
This will mean design supervision in several areas including pipeline, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, stress analysis, equipment specs and mechanical drawing development.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients on projects throughout Western Canada.
