Qualifications:
B.Sc. or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical a Minimum of 10 years practical experience with pipelines and pipeline integrity. Includes operations Engineering and Project Management.
Responsibilities:
Daily project management and leadership on multiple simultaneous database and GIS implementations.
Supervise specific client projects including staff, budgets, timelines and client’s expectations.
Participate in risk assessment model development workshops with clients.
Liase directly with the client during project implementation.
Perform quality testing of software implementations.
Suggest user new features for ongoing database, software, and GIS development.
Participate in new product development and design.
Participate in on-site software installation and user training.
Participate in RFP submissions and client presentations.
Assist in projects involving quantitative risk-based engineering assessments that support clients decision making processes.
Assist in the development of Risk Management programs.
Regularly review and familiarize the Company on trends, new developments, and needs in the industry from you contact with clients and other industry professionals.
Identify new products or services needed by the industry.
Provide intelligence on competitor capability, pricing, new products/services, alliances, business development and current activities.
Requirements:
Travel will be required – primarily within North America, but International travel may be required
The successful candidate will be the company representative at IT/GIS tradeshows or serve on industry committees such as PODS (Pipeline Open Database Standard). This will be on an occasional basis.
