Automation and Controls Engineer - Advance your career with this growing company in the NE metro Atlanta area. Potential for performance bonus. Responsibilities:

-> Involved with Kinematics, robotics, video controls, and automation with a team of engineers supporting the design and manufacture of speciality systems
-> The engineering design is for specialty equipment used for providing automated and tele-robotic solutions for inspection, welding and machining services
-> Working with Yaskawa hardware, servo systems and motion controllers

Requirements:

-> Must be proficient in the design and application code of motion controls, HMI, and AC servos for automation and robotic systems
-> Must have experience with PC based controlling software (company uses Phoenix Steeplechase)
-> Must have experience with Yaskawa OR similar type of Industrial Controls and Automation products in order to develop application code for robotics automation

Questions you will be asked:

• Do you have an BS Electrical Engineering or Technical degree ?

• Explain your proven experience with Yaskawa OR other Industrial Controls and Automation products developing application code?

• Have you worked with PC based controlling software programming (company uses Phoenix Steeplechase) ?

• Are you local to NE Atlanta area? If not, will you relocate with limited relocation assistance?
