Safety Manager - HAZOP/DOE/Nuclear 60-90 $/hr

Looking for 1 Nuclear Safety/ HAZOP Engineer for a 6 month contract in South Central Washington. Some travel to NE Tennessee will be involved as well and the company will cover all travel and lodging when going to TN. When submitting, please include the total hourly rate needed to relocate and stay in Washington for this contract. Listed rate is an approximation, so all applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

-> Expected to lead HAZOP reviews and assist development of Safety Analysis Reports
-> Support the Nuclear and Criticality Safety organization in the development of criticality safety documentation
-> Will provide technical assistance in development of criticality safety documents and analyses, criticality / nuclear safety controls and related technical support documentation
-> Will ensure the development of applicable documents comply with requirements and, as necessary, applicable controls are implemented in design

Requirements:

-> BS in Engineering or Math
-> 15 years experience in nuclear / criticality safety industry through support of DOE or commercial nuclear industry
-> Experience with implementation of 10 CFR 830, DOE 0 413.3A, DOE 0 420.1B and related standards and guides
-> Must be U.S. Citizen
