Stable work environment Exceptional career development opportunity Impressive salary, benefits and bonus scheme Our client is a mining consultancy with projects throughout Australia and overseas who is seeking an experienced Coal Geologist to join a close knit team of consultants in their Brisbane office.
THE ROLE
Whilst enjoying the benefits of a Monday - Friday city based lifestyle and a good work life balance, you will have the opportunity to use and develop your experience across a range of exciting projects throughout Australia. In this challenging, rewarding role, you will be responsible for:
Resource estimation and evaluation
Signing off as Competent person on resources under the JORC standard
Furthering business development
Due diligence, feasibility studies and geological reports
YOU
You should possess tertiary qualifications in Geology, have 10+ years Geology experience in coal, with previous experience in a consultancy role. Previous exposure to geological modelling software such as Vulcan and Surpac will be highly regarded.
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the vicinity of $125k - $145k + benefits.
