Expanding mine producer Ongoing career progression opportunities Great salary and benefits package An expanding Iron Ore company needs a Senior Drill and Blast Engineer to join their open cut operations in the Pilbara region. This is a great opportunity for career progression if you're an experienced Drill and Blast Engineer looking to take the next step into a senior role, or if you're an experienced senior geologist looking to diversify your experience. You will be joining a successful open cut team, working a 9 days on, 5 days off roster, on a fly in, fly out Perth basis.

You will be reporting to the Drill and Blast Supervisor, with your daily duties including:

Manage daily drill and blast activities

Develop blast designs

Assist and advice on drill and blast techniques

Assist with drill and blast scheduling

Help prepare budgets for the drill and blast department

You will be required to have completed tertiary qualifications in mining engineering, accompanied with five years experience working in a drill and blast role with an open cut operation.

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $90k - $125k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
