Mine Production Engineer

You will fly in, fly out from Perth on a 9 days on, 5 days off roster.

You will be reporting to the Senior Production Engineer, with some of your daily duties including:

Undertake mine planning, design and evaluation work as required

Manage the collection and administration of survey data

Train and mentor junior and graduate engineers

Liaise closely with geological, geotechnical, survey and mining contractor functions

Monitor longhole stoping areas on a daily basis

Manage and monitor the progress of longhole drilling and blasting activities

Compile weekly and monthly reports

Carry out special stope analysis work as required

Validate daily production records for longhole stoping

Maintain site safety standards throughout projects

You will be required to have completed a tertiary degree in mining engineering, or another relevant discipline, as well as four years experience working in an underground environment.

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $90k - $125k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
