THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a major international oil company to provide a Commissioning Technical Support Engineer. Must be willing to travel as and when required by Client. Terms and conditions will be very attractive. No local taxes. This is a 4/4 rotational position. Good long term prospects.
THE PERSON
Minimum 15 years commissioning and start-up experience, some of which shall have been in LNG Plant commissioning activities. Assist Commissioning Manager in the performance of duties. Centralise all relevant CSU information and keep records up-dated. Issue all required reports and follow-up progress of works. Position requires immediate reaction to unexpected events which will or could affect the commissioning progress. Centralise information: Planning; Master documentation; Databases; General and particular procedures; RFC, RFSU, RFHO, etc. Previous work experience on major projects in the Middle East would be an advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ideal candidate will be well educated and have a degree or equivalent qualifications. Familiar with OPERCOM methodology and its associated software ICAPS. Hands on and computer literate. Able to communicate with and to work alongside all Company, Contractor and Vendors personnel. Thorough knowledge of Oil & Gas Industry Safe Working Practices & PTW Systems. Spoken & written command of English language is a requirement; Arabic would be an advantage.
