Field Service Engineer - Westinghouse/Steam /Turbine

Location: Houston, TX, USA
Searching for experienced Westinghouse Steam Turbine Technical Director's for Contract or Direct Hire positions working from Home Office locations in the United States. Relocation not necessary.

Responsibilities:

-> Provide technical direction with maintenance & overhaul on Large Westinghouse Steam Turbine machines
-> Oversee the technicians and mechanics involved with steam turbine repair & maintenance at several different power plants throughout the USA

Requirements:

-> 5+ yrs field engineering experience as a Technical Director
-> Engineering degree preferred or relevant equivalent experience
-> Extensive travel during Outage Seasons
-> Must have previous experience working on outage & maintenance projects on large Westinghouse steam turbines
-> Plan and implement outages on steam turbines from initial planning to final completion

Questions you will be asked:

• Do you have 5+ yrs of recent field engineering experience as a Technical Director? Where and When?

• Has it been your responsibility to oversee the technicians and mechanics involved with steam turbine repair & maintenance at power plants using Westinghouse Steam Turbine equipment? Where and When?

• Do you hold a BS in Engineering? In what discipline and where was it earned?

• Describe your experience planning and implementing outages on Westinghouse steam turbines in power generation facilities

• Are you available for unrestricted and extensive travel during Outage Seasons?
