Immediate Start Minimum 6 month Contract Good Hourly Rate

Our client specialises in the construction of plant for water and wastewater processing, distribution and storage, with constructed elements including mechanical plant, electrical plant and process control system software.

They currently wish to engage the services of a commissioning engineer with experience in this field on a contract basis for a minimum of 6 months.

The role will involve:

In shop hardware electrical inspection Control systems factory acceptance testing Inspection of minor civil works associated with electrical switchboard installation Pre-site changeover planning / coordination Hardware site installation / changeover Site inspections (Electrical & Mechanical) Control system site acceptance testing Defects notification Reinspection and final acceptance inspections Documentation deliverables handover You will need to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and possess an Electrical licence (or equivalent e.g. Engineer) coupled with the required competencies to undertake electrical work in a project commissioning environment. In addition you will have a practical hands on approach and be comfortable spending a high percentage of your time out on site.

You will be offered an excellent hourly rate of pay and a minimum of a 6 month term with a significant chance of ongoing work with an employer with an excellent reputation for looking after their staff and a genuine commitment to supporting a work life balance.
