This International and well branded Mining organisation with its head office in Brisbane has a vacancy for an Environmental Superintendent to lead and manage the mines environmental rehabilitation operation. The organisation is one of the top most diversified Metals & Mining organisations in the world who continue to grow and create value over the long term, forming mutually beneficial partnerships with stakeholders.

Working out of Central QLD, as an Environmental Superintendent you will be responsible for the following:

Competent in all HSE plans and Site Standards & Positive Attitude Safety System (PASS)Able to liaise with local land owners in relation to environmental issues & initiativesManage the day to day activities of the rehabilitation team and provide assistance to the siteWork closely with the Department of Environment & Research Management (DERM)Manage the review and progressive implementation of the companies Environment Management System to ISO14001 standards and report to both internal and external clientsRequirements:

Degree Qualified in Environmental Management or similar qualificationMinimum 10 years experience in environment management, with exposure to the Mining & Resources sectorTechnically competent with sound knowledge of QLD environmental legislationWill be detail minded and have the ability to manage and control documentation & data systemsProject Management experience with strategic capabilities is highly desirableIn return:
