THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a QA / QC Engineer (Offsites). One year renewable contract working 28/28 rotation. Trips to the site and other company facilities when required. Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
10 years experience in QA / QC of Oil & Gas projects. Implementing QC plans and procedures to provide the most efficient and effective onsite construction works. Developing / maintaining quality standards. Reviewing / approving Contractors QC Plans and Inspection and Test Plans. Identifying, analysing and resolving issues and problems related to the QA / QC for the Site Onshore Construction. Planning and Coordinating QA / QC activities, ensuring quality control of the work according to contractual requirements. Supervising activity of QC Services Provider Inspectors. Reviewing / approving Contractors Quality Documentation. Implementing audits to contractors. Collecting and filing all Construction QA / QC Documentation for a structured handover to Commissioning Team.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Minimum HNC in Engineering. Record of not compromising with the quality of work done. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Good people management and leadership skills allied to a strong commercial awareness. Good IT skills inputting data into information management system database. Fluent written and spoken English. Must be eligible to live and work in the EU.
