Apply now for immediate consideration! Well established energy service organization is seeking an Purchasing Agent / contracts Administrator for a 12+ month contract assignment in Waltham, MA OR Syracuse, NY.

Responsibilities:

-> Provide full range of purchasing agent services in the Procurement - Professional Services unit with concentration in the areas of Human Resources, Financial Services, Customer Financial Services, Property Services. Accounts Payable, Customer Service (including Call Center); legal; safety; PR; marketing & advertising, Economic Development; Finance & Accounting
-> Understand and work with PeopleSoft and Oracle purchasing applications
-> Organize, evaluate and establish multi-year, large dollar commercial service contracts

Requirements:

-> Minimum of 3 5 years experience in the field of contract administration / services procurement
-> Knowledge of service agreements, contracts, contract law (service and UCC business law), contract drafting, and pricing analysis. Must be familiar with vendor performance metrics and how to negotiate/draft, service level agreements, key performance indicators and other performance metrics
-> Must have experience and expertise in drafting service agreements, including master service agreements, and contract administration expertise and experience
-> Knowledge and experience in PeopleSoft ERP, Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets is very important
-> Minimum of Bachelors Degree in supply chain, business, accounting, finance, public administration or related field
