Great opportunity with a fast-growing, publicly-traded international company that is searching for Plant Manager to join its team for the start-up and operation of a new plant focused on the recycling of materials by hydrometallurgical processes, using state-of-the-art technology in the Madison, WI area. Local candidates preferred although relocation will be considered for someone that is an ideal match. Salary listed is an approximation so all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

-> Successfully install, start-up and commission the plant in accordance with the planned budget and timetable
-> Manages all activities to include production, planning & control, maintenance, quality, and EH&S
-> Ensure manufacturing functions are in a context of compliance with state of the art practices and regulations in EH&S, HR and accounting
-> Apply quality and sustainable development values
-> Working closely with the General Manager will set and be responsible to meet operational targets

Requirements:

-> Four year Engineering Degree from an Accredited University
-> Experience in the start-up of new plant operations
-> Demonstrated experience in managing manufacturing operations
-> Proven ability to work under pressure in a changing environment
-> Proven ability to manage and motivate direct and indirect reports
-> Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

• How many total years experience do you have working in a Plant Manager position? How recent is this experience? How many total years in a manufacturing operations or similar industry? Do you have a four year degree and what discipline? Any advanced education? Please list if yes.

• Please share experience that will demonstrate your ability as a Plant Manager for the start-up and operation and subsequent management of a new plant focused on the recycling of materials. Have you had specific plant start up experience? Please explain.

• As this is a start up operation what will show your ability to work under pressure in a changing environment and demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels?

• Where do you currently live and why are you interested in a position located in the Madison, WI area? If eligible, will you require relocation assistance?

• What is your current or most recent annual salary (please break down base, bonus, etc.) and what is your desired salary for this position?
