Mechanical Engineer - Mechanical/Avionics/NASA

Location: Cleveland, OH, USA
Well established company in the Cleveland, OH area is seeking a contract Mechanical Engineer for assistance on project work. This will be a 90 day assignment. Please answer the questions below to be considered for this temporary position.

Responsibilities:

-> Assist with project work overflow as needed for the 90 day period
-> May include design, fabrication, assembly and testing of hardware; and/or packaging electro-mechanical systems for space
->

Requirements:

-> Minimum of 3-5 years directly related experience
-> Design experience with CAD packages such as SolidWorks, Pro-E or equivalents
-> Experience working with hardware from design & fabrication to assembly and testing
-> Experience packaging electro-mechanical systems for space and using finite element analysis for stress, dynamic and thermal performance
-> Experience with vibe, shock, thermal and vacuum environmental testing is desired
-> BS or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is preferred
-> NASA project experience is a plus
