Reliability Engineer - Nuclear/Reliability/Maintenance

Location: Birmingham, AL, USA
Contract assignment with a large company for an Equipment Reliability Engineer to work in the System Reliability organization of a Nuclear Power Generation organization. Excellent opportunity to work for a premier company located in the Southeastern U. S.

Responsibilities:

-> Responsible for troubleshooting skills; diagnostic testing; and/or preventative maintenance
-> Responsible for developing procedures and implementing reliability programs is desired
-> Responsibilities include understanding system health reporting, preventive maintenance programs, work management processes, self-assessment process, etc.)

Requirements:

-> Requires a BS or higher Engineering Degree (preferably Electrical or Mechanical)
-> Would prefer SRO (desired but not required)
-> Requires a minimum 5 years in commercial nuclear power
-> System engineering, maintenance, or operations experience desired
-> Working knowledge of INPO AP-913 and equipment reliability processes
-> Requires project management skills (scheduling tasks, working with other departments, able to present and communicate)
-> Individual must be able to be badged at a commercial nuclear plant

• Describe your experience as an Nuclear Reliability Mechanical Engineer for the nuclear power industry. Do you have a degree? What? Do you have an SRO?

• Do you have Nuclear Plant experience? Are you able or have you been badged at a Nuclear Power Generation plant within the U.S? Explain.

• Describe your system engineering, maintenance, or operations experience. Describe your experience for troubleshooting skills; diagnostic testing; and-or preventative maintenance. Describe your project management skills (scheduling tasks, working with other departments, able to present and communicate).

• Describe your understanding system health reporting, preventive maintenance programs, work management processes, self-assessment process, etc.). Describe your working knowledge of INPO AP-913 and equipment reliability processes.

• Why are you interested in working and living in Southeastern US area? Is there anything that would keep you from relocating to this area now? explain. What is your current or most recent pay rate? What company? What rate do you desire for this position? Explain. Do you require per diem?
