Engineering client is looking to hire an Energy Efficiency Manager with 3-10+ years of experience in energy management. If you have a BS degree in Engineering you only need 3 years of experience. If you don't have a degree of any sort, you will need 10+ years of experience in energy management. You need to be a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Professional Engineer (PE). If not, you must obtain a CEM or PE within the first year after the contract is awarded. Client offers excellent pay, benefits, bonus and relocation package.

Responsibilities:

-> Developing renewable energy projects
-> Assist in executing stimulus funded projects
-> Conduct energy audits
-> Develop & implement energy savings, energy conservation & performance contract projects
-> You will be responsible for reporting energy cost savings for each energy conservation measure
-> Reducing overall utility costs and consumption by reducing energy intensity by at least 3 percent per year and water consumption intensity by at least 2 percent per year

Requirements:

-> You need a 3-10+ years of energy management experience
-> You need some experience with renewable energy and alternate financing
-> Knowledge of utility rate/tariff structures
-> Experience conducting energy audit
-> Some experience with Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems, steam and hot water boilers, chillers, and other energy intensive systems and equipment
-> Experience with Maryland utility loan/grant/rebate and rate structure technical proficiency is a PLUS
-> Any practical hands-on experience in the Department of the Armys annual energy reporting would be a PLUS
-> You need to be a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Professional Engineer (PE). (If not, you must obtain a CEM or PE within the first year after the contract is awarded)
-> Any other energy efficiency related certificate (CEP, CLEP, CMVP, CRM, CPQ, CEA, CIAQP, GBE, CSDP, BEP, CBCP, DGCP, CDG, or LEED) is a PLUS

• Detail your experience developing & implementing energy savings, energy conservation & performance contracting projects.
