Our client is a major Australian engineering and building construction group. They have undertaken some of Australia's largest and most significant road, rail, industrial, infrastructure and building projects. They continue to win large civil and building construction projects which keep them at the forefront of the Australian engineering industry.

Due to their current workload in Victoria and South Australia, a role currently exists for a Rail Project Manager in the Engineering Division.

The Rail Project Manager's responsibilities include:

Delivery of civil, permanent way and rail systems
Package procurement
Contractor interfaces
Site surveillance
Manage Delivery Risks
Care of the works
Civil works
Permanent way works
Electrical D&C
OHW & Catanary D&C
Signalling D&C
Communications D&C
Fire Protection D&C
O&M Manual technical input

Preferably the suitable candidate will have previous experience in the construction industry with a contracting background. To be considered for this role the following are essential:

10 years experience within the construction industry
5 years recent experience in the rail environment
Recent project based experience in Victoria
