About the Job

Leighton Contractors Pty Limited is embarking on one of the most exciting phases in our proud history. We have record levels of work in hand across diverse sectors including construction, mining, telecommunications, industrial engineering and infrastructure investment.

We currently have a requirement for a Senior Estimator in our West Perth office reporting to the Estimating Manager.

You will contribute to the effective delivery of estimating services through the professional preparation, competitive pricing and on-time delivery of tenders to maximise the probability of securing profitable construction contracts.

To ensure accurate estimates of the total cost of allocated projects are completed on time and in accordance with required technical standards, you will require extensive experience in the tendering of major civil construction projects.

In addition you will require:

Minimum 10 years construction experience.

Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, proposed construction teams, potential and existing clients.

Strong planning and scheduling capabilities that meet timelines and outputs.

Attention to detail in reviewing and comparing contract documentation and terms of award against tender documents and tender submission.

Committment to safe work practices and company values.

Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
