Major Project
Major Road infrastructure contract seeking Senior Project Engineers with Road & Earthworks experience to be based in Southern Queensland.

You must have at least 5 years Australian experience in a Senior Project Engineer role with a Top Tier or Project Manager role with a reputable mid tier contractor where you have run $50m + contracts with full commercial and operational control.

Reporting to an Area Manager, you will be responsible for upto 2No Project Engineers and 3No Site Engineers and duties will include:

* Procurement, negotiation and management of subcontractors
* Safety, environmental and quality
* Monitor construction planning and progress
* Dealing with all technical issues for your section of the project
* Liaising with Contract Administrator and Quantity Surveyor for all commercial and contractual aspects

You must hold a tertiary qualification as minimum and be committed to the region for the next 3 years.

This role is for a end September / early October start, but the client can accommodate an earlier start for the right individual.
