Production Engineer Hunter Valley, NSW A great opportunity exists to work in a residential-based position with excellent salary and conditions for the right applicant. The small but challenging mine site will allow the candidate to extend their drill & blast, planning and engineering skills that are not normally offered by other sites. The Production Engineer is an integral part of the Technical Services team & will be responsible for: Short term planning and design, Drill & blast design & co-ordination, Daily liaising with mining supervisors and Operational Project works. Unique challenges in this role that will enhance your career experience: Planning for OC mining over extensive underground workings, Environmental management being integral to the mining processes, Extensive history of the mine and Mine closure of older mining operations. To be a successful applicant, the following skills will be regarded: 2-4 years open cut experience in planning/scheduling, Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent, Minescape or Mine Design software, Desire to work in a team and the Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the operation.
