Are you sick of the dust on site? Do you and your family want to live in a suburb close enough to a cosmopolitan CBD, but without having to feel like you're part of the rat race.

My client is a very well established international consultancy with offices in 5 continents. Due to internal promotion, they are now looking for an Associate Mining Engineer for one of their East Coast offices.

As a minimum, you will need a Mining Engineering degree with 10 years + experience in open cut and underground coal mine planning; a minimum of 5 years must have been spent in Australia. Membership of AusIMM is desired and those holding OCE status and / or Mine Manager certificate will have a distinct advantage.

You will need to be fully conversant with Mincom Minescape as well as one or more of the scheduling software suites.

Reporting to the Mining Manager, your exceptional planning skills will be integral to the success of driving and growing this division and there are real opportunities to step up into a team leader / management role in the future.
