Experience: Minimum Requirements
Candidate should hold degree in Engineering with at least 15-20 years of experience in Reservoir Engineer, flow simulation and field development activities.
Candidate must have a strong understanding of geostatisitics and the process of scale up between geological models and flow models.
An understanding and experience in Parallel flow modeling is a strong desirable asset.
Candidate must have experience in Gas Condensate Reservoir Development.
International experience is required for more than 10 years with one of major IOC companies
Job Scope
Should have practical experience of handling Reservoir simulation studies with the ability to mentor the KOC staff.
Should have experience of modeling fracture reservoir of Carbonates and Clastics reservoirs independently (with special focus on Gas Condensate Reservoir, infill drilling and EOR applications).�
Should provide short term and long term production profiles, as and when required by the management.� Should also provide reservoir engineering answers to short term production enhancement requirements, as and when desired by the management.
Should possess the ability to handle the SCAL studies and integrate the same into reservoir models.�
Should have rich experience in the Reservoir of Gas Condensate with clear-cut definitive answers to the long-term requirements, which is in line with the best reservoir management practice.
Should be able to provide guidance/advice to the routine reservoir management issues on day-to day with respect to data interpretation /integration, as and when required by the team.
Should be familiar with conventional reservoir engineering concepts/tools and well as advanced tools such as geostatisitcs (industry-standard Gocad preferred).
Should be able to quality check the reservoir engineering data interpretation and studies and find solutions to the weaknesses in the current system.
Should be able to provide guidance on advanced Pressure Transient analysis.
Should be able to provide guidance on PVT study requirement (as a planning for future EOR studies).� Should have the ability to conduct reservoir fluid description studies in case of reservoirs showing large variation in fluid properties vertically and laterally.
Should be able to act a peer for Reserve Growth studies/plans with a focus on uncertainty estimation.
Should provide guidance on Data Acquisition/Surveillance plans, data interpretation & integration to optimize the development activities.
Should participate in Production management providing support to Production engineers to identify candidates for Rig and Rigless workover jobs, Well allowables and Effluent disposal requirements.
Should advice on Reservoir appraisal, testing and reserves growth plans.
Value addition to Reservoir reviews, well reviews and Reserves review discussions by positive inputs.
Provides advice and guidance to subordinates in different work areas.� Typically supervises or leads a team.
Devises a detailed work program and schedule to meet agreed targets.
Establishes and monitors action plans and schedules for activities across many work areas.
Monitors and controls completion times for complex targets and projects.� Makes realistic assessments of time required for completion and adjusts priorities.
Participates in higher-level committees.� Uses facilitation and presentations skills to reach agreement.� Prepares and delivers presentations to management.� Handles and integrates complex and irregular reports/activities requiring information from several sources and apprises the senior management.
Leads participant, takes positive initiatives to encourage team approach, understands different concerns, recognizes strengths of others and helps them to achieve their goals as well achieving team goals.
Ensures development of skills in others through training tools.
Efficiently manages own time as well as of others.
