Technical Specialist - Emergency/Plan/Assessment

Location: Louisville, KY, USA
A client located in Western Kentucky has a need for a Technical Specialist for a 3 month contract position. The candidate will evaluate, revise, and write new and existing Emergency Action Plans for the company. Salary will be determined by candidate's experience and knowledge. Per Diem to be negotiated if needed.

Responsibilities:

-> Site investigations of dams and ash ponds
-> Review existing procedures if they exist
-> Write procedures after reviewing with management and local officials
-> Making sure that Emergency Action Plans meet the minimum safety standards to ensure public safety
-> Take the necessary steps required to present and file the EAP to management, officials, and regulatory bodies

Requirements:

-> BSCE and a PE
-> Must have a minimum of 4 years of existing experience in writing and designing Emergency Action Plans (EAP)
-> Must be able to work under deadline situations
-> Must be detail oriented to produce documents that will guide uses under stressful events
