Senior Industrial Refrigeration Engineer is now needed in the Houston, TX. area.
Responsibilities:
-> Prepare proposals for the sizing and selection of mechanical equipment and electrical equipment such as chillers, pumps, motors, basic instrument, motor controllers, etc
-> Review customer specifications and make recommendations for proposals
-> Interface with Project Engineers, Project Managers, Electrical and Controls Engineers, Service Engineers and Technicians to help develop formalized proposals
-> Assist in the development of and administer the department's training program for Industrial Application Engineers
Requirements:
-> Minimum of 10 years in Industrial HVAC, energy service contracting or central refrigeration plant experience
-> Minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior Application Engineering role
-> Consulting Engineering Experience is a plus
-> Certified Professional Engineer is a plus
-> Supervise a small team of Application Engineers in a business environment associated with supporting a global sales force
-> Estimating and bid tabulation is highly desirable
-> Proficient in technical writing
