Established for over half a century this engineering consultancy has offices worldwide working on full building services solutions for construction projects. They provide specialist hydraulic services from concept to completion on a large portfolio of building projects including commercial, infrastructure, healthcare, education and residential projects.
Employed as a Hydraulic Engineer you will part of team providing the full range of hydraulic solutions for building services. You will be responsible for the design and documentation of hydraulics systems within of a range of building projects. This will include drainage, sanitary plumbing services, hot & cold water services and fire hydrant system design. Along with designing and completing calculations for hydraulic systems you will be coordinating their interaction with other engineering disciplines.
The successful candidate will have a recognised tertiary Engineering qualification with extensive experience in the design and analysis of hydraulic systems for large scale buildings. An understanding of designing cost effective and energy efficient solutions, swimming pools and recycled water systems would be a distinct advantage as would knowledge of identifying risks and designing safeguards to help prevent and control the effects of fire.
