Mechanical Estimator

This nationally recognized organisation is an employer of choice offering specialised services in the property, mining and heavy industrial sectors nationally. They provide construction, electrical and mechanical installation, maintenance and fabrication services. Past and ongoing projects include material handling equipment, processing plants, mining shutdowns, smelter upgrades and coal asset maintenance projects.

Currently they have a requirement for a Mechanical Estimator

Within this role you will have the following responsibilities:

Developing and submitting tenders in a team environment Assessing project costs and subcontract conditions Negotiating tenders for the industrial business group Developing design and construct estimates and rates for mining and industrial projectsYou should be experienced in the electrical estimating for open cut mines, pumping stations, industrial plant and asset maintenance contracts across the mining and industrial industries. You should also be accustomed to estimating and submitting tenders in a competitive market environment.
