Engineering Technician Oman
Production Data Management Specialist needed for a full-time employment opportunity in Oman. The ideal match for this opportunity will have a bachelor’s degree in in Management Information Systems or Information Technology and must be proficient in extracting, manipulating, correcting, and analyzing data. Qualifications include advance skills in Oracle database, C++, VB Scripting and creating data quality checking tools, basic understanding of oil well and field facility operations preferred, previous experience of TOWcs, DSS, LOWIS is an advantage. Responsibilities include providing technical support to the reservoir, artificial lift, and production engineers in the subsurface team, managing production and injection databases, generating reports and performance plots as needed, reviewing data for accuracy and work with appropriate personnel to resolve any data issues, presenting data management activity in reviews with company, partners, and the Ministry of Oil and Gas and acting as a focal point of contact for subsurface team with corporate.
