This internationally renowned consultancy has a well established Melbourne team with a growing workload. They are employee owned and pride themselves on offering award winning multidisciplinary engineering and project management services to public and private clients worldwide.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be working in the Melbourne office's Water Infrastructure Team and be responsible for the design and analysis of the mechanical components within water treatment plant projects across Victoria. You will be involved in both concept and detail design through to overseeing construction of both new build and upgrade of existing treatment plants.

To be successful you will be well versed in the design and analysis of mechanical process equipment of associated with Water Treatment plants and pump stations as well as previous experience conducting site investigations and liaising with contactors.

You will have a recognised Engineering qualification, circa 7 + years of mechanical engineering experience chiefly in water processing plants and be conversant in completing projects from tender to construction. A working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferable as is previous experience within a consulting environment and comprehensive knowledge of local standards.
