With an extremely profitable international Rail business; our client's Australian operation is growing rapidly, and are working to a strategic business development plan that will see a number of key appointments over the coming months to enable them to achieve their goals. At the fore of their strategic plan is the appointment of an Estimating Manager.
Ideally suited to an Estimator with leadership experience coupled with more than 6 years of experience in Rail projects, the role offers the opportunity for you to be actively involved in the day to day running of a busy estimating office, while at the same time working as a key member of the strategic management team on 'whole of business' planning.
If you are looking for either a step up in your career or move to an employer who is planning for the future not looking at what could have been, this opportunity could be for you. With a tremendous track record in winning and delivering multidiscipline rail projects in the region of $50m to $1b in value, they are now looking to build upon this and step up the volume of projects.
The Role;
You will be responsible for tender preparation, budget estimates and pre-qualification including commercial and technical risk review.
The Requirements;
At least 5 years experience Estimating for Rail Construction projects.Strong knowledge of first principals estimating.Tertiary qualifications would be desirable.
