Distribution Engineer - Electric Distribution /R&I/ESD/DOT

A Distribution Engr Specialist II is needed in NC.

Responsibilities:

-> Accurately evaluate options, and design safe, cost-effective, reliable facilities for new residential, commercial and industrial, single phase and three phase projects
-> Design major circuit construction and rebuild projects across a geographic area
-> Responsible for designing complex distribution projects such as downtown underground projects, extra facilities projects, high profile projects, projects requiring the highest reliability, etc
-> Accurately evaluate voltage, loading, and reliability on the electric distribution system, provide cost-effective solutions to allow for system expansion, and to maximize safety and service reliability
-> Complete outage follow up and implement outage prevention measures on distribution facilities in an assigned area
-> May also be involved in the resolution of power quality issues

Requirements:

-> 4 years distribution engineering experience
-> Thorough understanding of Electric Distribution materials, work procedures, and work dependencies
-> Proficient user of PC based programs commonly used in analyzing, preparing and managing field work
-> Understanding of R&I/ESD processes
-> Knowledge and proficiency in company higher level analysis programs and tools.
-> Valid drivers license
-> Local Candidates preferred
