Apply now for immediate consideration. Well established renewable energy segment leader is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Sourcing for a direct hire career opportunity in beautiful southern California.

Responsibilities:

-> Candidate will lead the sourcing department responsible for the purchasing both capital equipment and professional services for a rapidly expanding renewable energy organization
-> Candidate will develop and execute organization-wide procurement, strategic sourcing and supply base management strategies

Requirements:

-> Candidate must have previous exp as a procurement professional for a renewable energy company (sorry, no exceptions)
-> 10+ years strategic sourcing experience in sizable procurement organizations
-> World Class supplier relationship skills, strong negotiation skills and outstanding cross-functional leadership ability
-> Demonstrated skills in delivering year-to-year savings
