Engineering Geologist

2-3 year contract Brisbane local project Work with specialised engineersBayside Personnel Australia is seeking a highly experienced specialised geologist to join the specialist ground team on one of Brisbane's metro projects. You will be required to assist the Area managing geologist on all sections of the infrastructure project and Tunnel work.

Skills required:

Need to be highly experienced in the civil infrastructure arena Knowledge and experience in; dams and weirs, tunnels, large civil infrastructure projects, earth retaining structures and haul roads. Experience in Rock formation/ support/ Rock quality Experience in Field Mapping You will have qualifications in civil or geotechnical engineering High exposure to on-site soil & rock testing would be highly regarded Good written and verbal communication skills Tunnel Mining experience would be advantageous
The successful candidate will be required to manage different sections of the project with the assistance of the area managing geologist. Your high level of specialised experience in tunnel work will be highly regarded.
