Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Project Engineer for a major contractor in the Brisbane area on a landmark project. Working on their largest project to date you will heading up a multi disciplinary team on a project that is to run for many years. This is a chance to work for a company with real diversity who is one of the major players in the building game who are expanding their infrastructure and RC framework division due their success.

The company has one of the very best retention rates in the southern hemisphere and are going from strength to strength due to the success of their client lead project delivery and also winning work in open tender. The have a reputation based on quality and are now looking to enhance the major projects team with some key appointments. Reporting to the Construction Manager you will be the principle point of contact for the client, specialist subcontractors and management / design team to ensure the smooth running of the contract.

Position

As the Project Engineer (PE) you will be required to carry out project responsibilities reporting to the Construction Manager.

You will be responsible for:

Overseeing trades and labour on the project, ensuring Health and Safety is maintained as well as the upkeep of Quality Control systems. Accurate site records, document control and liaise closely with the contractor and design team to overcome any design issues that may come up. carrying out the planning and programming requirementsfor all the outputs of their allocated work package including financial forecasting and production controlsEnsuring that the project is running on time and within budget
