BHP Billiton Worsley Alumina is the joint venture operation of BHP Billiton, Japan Alumina Associates and Sojitz Alumina. As a member of the world’s largest diversified resources company, Worsley manages a bauxite mine and alumina refinery in Western Australia’s South West and offers candidates an enviable choice of lifestyle, based in the state’s picturesque South West.

As a key member of the Powerhouse Operations Team, we are seeking power station operators who are committed to maintaining Worsley’s high level of excellence in power station operation. To be successful in this role, you will hold Advanced or Intermediate Boiler and Steam Turbine Certificates, have extensive experience in modern steam power plants and be committed to zero harm while delivering excellent performance. Your key responsibilities will require you to fully use your knowledge of steam generating plants, gas turbines, air compressors, diesel engines, power station auxiliaries and electrical distribution systems.

Committed to developing a culture driven by safety, quality and continuous improvement, you should be able to demonstrate a high level of safety awareness, be a skilled communicator with the ability to work within a strong team environment.
