Mine Geologist- Gold - Underground - FIFO

Expanding gold mining company Long term career prospects Ongoing training and support provided Leading gold mining company needs an experienced Mine Geologist to join their expanding underground team. You will be joining an existing team within a successful company, providing you with ongoing career support and long term career outcomes. You will be working a fly in, fly out Perth roster to their Kalgoorlie region site. You will fly on company time, with onsite camp accommodation provided for the duration of your work on site.

You will be reporting to the Underground Manager, with your duties including:

Geological data collection and analysis

Daily, weekly and monthly report writing

Geological interpretation, grade control models, resource models and reports

Supervising and mentoring junior geologists

Mineralisation testing

You will be required to hold a tertiary degree in geology, or another relevant discipline. You will also need five years experience working as a geologist in an underground environment. Experience with computer related mining software is advantageous.

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $90k - $120k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
