Our Client:
A major environmental and engineering Consultancy Group, based in the UK. They offer a comprehensive consultancy service, across a wide range of engineering and environmental disciplines, providing services to both public and private sector clients.
The Role:
Based in the UK with some overseas travel involved, the role will include undertaking interpretive reports, based on desk studies, archive information provided by the client, or from physical investigations undertaken on site, liaison with clients. Producing graphical representations of the geology and mineral bearing zones, including detailed geological maps, orebody models and geostatistical analysis. This is a key position within the company, with the opportunity for career progression.
Requirements:
Geology degree, a good knowledge of coal geology and practical exposure to coal mining projects. Excellent communication skills, previous experience as a consultant an advantage. Good computer skills and a knowledge of mining/geological software. Good salary and benefits offered.
