THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide an Onshore Production Superintendent to work in the Production and Maintenance / Onshore Department. A residential position based in Kazakhstan - single or accompanied status. Role to manage operations associated with production of oil and gas on the onshore facilities ensuring that operability and output quality are achieved in line with budget while maintaining high standards of safety / environmental awareness. Contract duration 1 year (renewable). Visits to other company facilities when required. Excellent rates negotiable for the right candidate.
THE PERSON
Minimum 15 years of experience in processing plant operations in Oil and Gas Industry to include: knowledge and experience of Production operations particularly DCS instrumentation; Crude oil and gas processing (separation, stabilization, demercaptanization; acid gas removal and related systems; LPG recovery; Sulphur recovery / handling and storage; Utilities and steam boilers; Power Station; Storage tanks and delivery systems; Gas compression; Trunk and export pipelines) and related systems. Also knowledge and experience in operating plant machinery and associated systems; preventive / predictive maintenance techniques management.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree / Diploma in technical discipline. Must be qualified to operate in presence of toxic substances and H2S. SIMOPS management. Familiarity with local and international codes and regulations concerning plant operation. Computer literate. Good communication and training skills including written and spoken English.
