Contracts Administrator - Contracts/Construction/Natural Gas 25-40 $/hr

Long term contract opportunity (2+ years) located in the Salt Lake City, UT area for a Contracts Administrator to provide support to the expansion projects group in the compilation, negotiation and execution of major contracts and agreements and to perform duties related to the ongoing management of these contracts. Mobilization and demobilization are available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities:

-> Using company-selected systems, provides services in support of engineering, procurement, consulting, and construction services to the entire expansion project team
-> Working in a lead capacity in the negotiation of contracts for the supply of goods and provision of services
-> Generate general, master, and professional services agreements, project specific contracts, request for service, and purchase order documents
-> Supports and manages the bid solicitation process for service and supply contracts and lead the commercial evaluation of contractor-prepared bids for services
-> Maintain electronic and paper filing system of documentation associated with contracts, requests for services, and purchase requisition
-> Other duties as typically required and associated with contracts administration

Requirements:

-> Bachelors degree in business, accounting, construction management, supply management or related field with associated contracts experience or extensive prior work experience in contracts
-> Six or more years of related work experience with contracts
-> Advanced computer skills and aptitude necessary to operate desktop and proprietary software related to work requirements, e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, financial/accounting system
-> Willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities to support the objectives of the expansion projects group
-> Will work regular business hours with some overtime available
-> Some regional limited travel will be possible
