You will be responsible to assist in project planning, co-ordinate equipment shutdowns to ensure safety, equipment availability and production targets are achieved, provide input into planned maintenance schedules by using statistical analysis of plant and equipment availability, identify and analyse repetitive equipment breakdowns by using root cause analysis methods. You will also be responsible to ensure equipment reliability by monitoring and controlling work quality and continuously improving work methods, evaluate cost options for replacing or repairing equipment and liaise with production, engineering and maintenance to ensure effective project execution, equipment maintenance and availability.
The purpose of the role is to ensure overall equipment effectiveness by planning, co-ordinating, scheduling and communicating all required production, engineering and maintenance shutdowns and installation of new equipment
Ideally you will have a relevant tertiary qualification preferably in an engineering discipline, be computer literate, with 3 - 5 years experience in an industrial environment in a maintenance, production or engineering role.
