Reporting to the HSEQ Systems & Compliance Superintendent the First Priority Enterprise (FPe) Coordinator will be responsible for carrying out FPe and HSEQ Systems activities within the HSEQ Department, ensuring duties are carried out according to the BHP Billiton HSEC Management Standards and ISO accreditation requirements at all times.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and organised self - starter who is interested in working in a fast paced and continuous improvement environment.
Duties will include:
* Coach and mentor all personnel in First Priority Basic, provide advanced training for GEMCO Management Team
* Identify site systems and processes that could benefit from using First Priority and help maintain and manage them
* Set up site and department HSEC systems, structures and layouts
* Provide site maintenance and HSEQ system support to all personnel
* Ensure safety statistical information is accurate
* Provide administrative and financial processing support to the HSEQ department (including GSAP, Documentum and webpage maintenance)
Relevant skills and abilities:
* Experience with First Priority Enterprise (FPe) system
* Experience with software packages (including Microsoft Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint/Access/ Outlook and GSAP (or similar)
* Capability to engage teams of both employees and contractors through excellent communication skills
* An intimate knowledge of safety and quality systems, programs and procedures
* The ability to influence and build relationship at all levels of the operation
* Self organised skills, flexibility, ability to handle high workloads
