Leinster Nickel Operation is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance and Cliffs Underground Mines before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate. This is a fantastic opportunity for a suitably experienced Radio Communications Technician to showcase their knowledge and skills. We are looking for a dynamic self starter with experience in maintaining radio communications systems and an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment and the community.

Think Purpose
The Radio Communications Technician is responsible for the maintenance of all radio and underground tracking equipment within the fixed plant environment, working with the highest priority to safety at all times and in doing so, supporting the Leinster mine site by being industry leaders in maintenance.
Think Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have a working knowledge of radio communications systems, both surface and underground based, and experience in the following fields:
* Motorola product knowledge / programming;
* Fault diagnoses on communications;
* Personnel tracking equipment;
* Personnel evacuation devices.
A Restricted Electrical Licence is a pre-requisite and applicants with SCADA knowledge are strongly encouraged to apply.
You’ll need to have post trade experience with knowledge of an underground mining environment, excellent communication skills, a strong level of computer literacy and excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
A current WA Drivers Licence and Police Clearance are essential.
