An exciting opportunity exists for a self motivated individual to sustain and improve production processes within the Treatment and Logistics Department.

Responsibilities include safe and cost effective process management of gas and fume treatment, harbour, logistics and laboratory processes. You are required to originate, implement and control the section’s operating and capital budgets. You will lead a team of five process specialists who will be required to support the production, maintenance and engineering teams by providing detailed process and technical assistance to ensure that all production processes are maintained within design parameters. The process specialist team will also provide in depth, process and operational training and assist in building technical capability at all levels within the department.

Ideally you will have a B Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years process plant experience in an industrial environment. Specific process knowledge in gas and fume treatment, laboratory or harbour operations will be beneficial and a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role is a prerequisite for success in this role. Experience and success in continuous improvement using six sigma methodologies will be advantageous.
