The purpose of this role is to maintain and optimize processes and equipment to achieve set production targets within the ambits of safety and quality standards.


You will be responsible to co-ordinate and control technical activities that affect processes and provide input and technical expertise with respect to the implementation of process projects undertaken in the Gas Treatment Centres and Bake Furnace Fume Treatment Centres; monitor the process / production parameters using statistical process methods and standard procedures. You are responsible for the investigation and recommendations for technical problems designed to continuously improve process performance. This will include both routine and non routine specialized technical analysis and evaluations.

It will also be your responsibility to monitor and ensure production / process quality in the plant is maintained; recommend modifications to technical parameters. Ensure overall stability of the various processes is maintained and ensure continuous improvement and technical efficiency.

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent with 3 years experience in a Metallurgical Environment.
