Primary Responsibilities
Ø Data loading into Corporate DBs (e.g. Finder, LogDB and Prosource Seismic).
Skill Profile
Ø B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred. A good Diploma in IT acceptable.
Ø Minimum 4 years experience in IT with at least 1 year in a customer focused function.
Ø Minimum 2 years experience in an upstream petroleum operations environment.
Ø Good Knowledge of the RDBMS, Oracle, Sqlplus
Ø Good knowledge of query languages for databases.
Ø Good knowledge of the E&P Data Management activities and data work-flows.
Ø Good knowledge of the G&G activities performed in data acquisition, data processing, data interpretation, reservoir modeling, and drilling to guarantee proper data use and data loading.
Detailed Responsibilities
Ø Coordination of well data assets to Finder and LogDB for loading in accordance with the company Business rules and policies.
Ø Geoframe well data loading of daily drilling activities.
Ø Finder and LogDB querying and reporting of available data.
Ø Well data acquisition coordination.
Ø Well data Archival assistance.
Ø Log asset coordination – tracking of processed vs raw data in and out of various vendors.
Ø Log data processing.
Ø Tracking and monitoring company interest well data.
Ø Finder mapping support backup.
Ø Loading of Seismic trace and Navigation data into Prosource Seismic.
